Sean Markey, MD

Dr. Sean Markey is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He earned his medical degree in 1997 from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he also completed his surgical internship and neurosurgery residency.

Dr. Markey has served as the director of both Littleton Adventist Hospital and Parker Adventist Hospitals. He also serves as faculty for a number of medical device companies, which includes ongoing work in the development of new spinal surgery techniques. He has been listed in “5280: Denver’s Mile-High Magazine” as one of the city’s top doctors for his work with brain and spine disorders.

Dr. Markey’s areas of interest include the treatment of complex disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, minimally invasive surgery, artificial disk surgery, neuro-oncology, radiosurgery including Gamma knife, neurovascular diseases, neuro-trauma surgery and critical care. He is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Colorado Neurosurgical Society, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Western Neurological Society.

In order to provide all of our patients with the best care in an efficient way, please complete our patient forms and bring them to your appointment.

So that we may accurately diagnose your condition and provide the best treatment possible, please bring the following items to your appointment:

  • MRI, CT, and any other radiology studies (actual films and/or CDs, along with the reports).
  • Other diagnostic study results.
  • Physician, physical therapist, and/or chiropractor notes.
